In 2014 PASHA Bank and Junior Achievement Azerbaijan implemented a joint project called “Sustainable Enterprise Development” aimed at breeding and development of the entrepreneurial skills of the youth who live in Baku and Guba (a region located in the north of the country). About 60 young people aged 18-27 with particular interest in entrepreneurial activity were shortlisted by the project and received the required training and support for establishment of small and medium sized enterprises. The project delivers consultancy to help the participants throughout the program implementation, young entrepreneurs explore distribution and sales channels, and learn how to promote their products and services so that to be financially sustainable. The project teaches the youth to become knowledgeable consumers and responsible citizens.
