PASHA Bank sponsors cultural events for children

In May 2014, PASHA Bank sponsored a number of cultural and educational events for children from local schools and orphanages. The events were organised as part of the Duyma project. Italian writer Radmilla Gordich, the author of a children's book about friendship also called Duyma, was also involved in the project. Radmilla Gordich's book has been translated into Azerbaijani with PASHA Bank's support.

As part of this initiative, readings of Radmilla Gordich's Duyma were held in several schools and orphanages in the last week of May. In addition, on May 31, a master class in drawing and a painting contest were organised in the architectural conservation area "Icherisheher". The master class was led by the famous Georgian painter Nino Peradze, who illustrated Radmilla Gordich's book.

Copies of Duyma have been donated to school and orphanage libraries.
