Leading corporate bank of Azerbaijan - PASHA Bank - acted as main sponsor of the 5-th "Investors' Fair 2017". Main goal of the event held in Baku on 6 October by Azerbaijan Association of Micro-financing (AMFA) was attraction of foreign investors for the support of development of small and medium business in the regions of the country.

This year, more than 100 representatives of both private and public sectors were invited to take part in the conference: "Future of micro-financing: challenges and capabilities". Representatives of banks, non-bank lending institutions, investment companies, market regulators - Central Bank of Azerbaijan, Chamber of Supervision over Financial Markets, as well as International Finance Corporation, National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers’) Organizations of the Azerbaijan Republic and other local and international institutions and structures were among those invited to the Conference.

Within the framework of working sessions "Future of micro-financing sector" and "Era of financial technologies"  participants of the conference and specialists discussed the latest problems and challenges that payers of the market are currently facing, and also role  of the state regulatory bodies in development of this sector. Experts gave special consideration to a number of measures required for the encouragement  of activity, i.e. use of innovation methods in activity of market players in the context of development of non-oil economy sector. 

Winners of special prizes established by AMFA were named at the conference and award ceremony was held at the event.  Member of the AMFA Board,  Chief Commercial Director of PASHA Bank Melih Mengu was awarded as "Professional of the Year".

Business conference  "Investors' Fair" has been held by the Azerbaijan Association of Micro-financing since 2009.
