On 29 March a faerie concert called "Tar with Arslan Novrasli" was held in the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic named after M. Magomayev. This event was organised by art Centre "Buta" and Ministry of Culture and Tourism with direct involvement of one of the largest banks of Azerbaijan - PASHA Bank. The winner of numerous competitions, the teacher of Azerbaijan National Conservatoire Arslan Novrasli (tar), Azerbaijan National Chamber Orchestra named after Gara Garayev, people's artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan, art director and the conductor of the Orchestra, the director of specialised musical school named after Bul Bul, Teymur Geokchayev performed for the audience in their full glory.
A. Novrasli together with the professional musicians of the orchestra and the direction of T. Geokchayev virtuously performed both national music pieces, for example, "Sari Galin" and the compositions of the world famous celebrities like Fikrat Amirov, Rimsky-Korsakov. It should be emphasized that most of the music pieces of the evening, for example a Suite by Italian composer Nino Rota for the remarkable film of all times and nations - "Godfather"; the composition "Blue Rondo a-la-Turka" by Deiva Brubeck and others were preformed in tar for the first time in the history of tar performance.
As it was noted by the representative of the official partner of the event, the director of PR and marketing department of PASHA Bank Sona Abbasova, the Bank acting as a socially responsible institution over the year of its activity has organized and directly participated in many events aimed at the development of the society. "Our main objective within the social responsibility program is to promote the cultural heritage of the ancient Azerbaijani nation both at local and international levels, to invest in comprehensive development of young generation and education of patriotic mindset and respect to traditions. We are pleased to have this opportunity to support such wonderful project" finalised S. Abbasova.
