The 4th international Future of Banking Summit recently took place in Paris. The event was organised by the group division of The Economist - The Economist Conferences - with the support of its main sponsor, PASHA Bank, a leading corporate and investment bank in Azerbaijan.

Representatives from leading global banks, financial regulators, and government officials participated in this year's Summit. Pierre Moscovici, Prime Minister of France; Michel Barnier, Internal Market and Services EU Commissioner; Ebru Edin, Vice-President of Garanti Bank; Farid Akhundov, Chief Executive Officer of PASHA Bank; Peter Grayer, Chairman of Bloomberg LP; and other high-profile individuals were some of the notable speakers at the Summit.

The future of the banking sector on a global scale, implementing new standard requirements such as those relating to Basel III, and conducting business in developing countries were some of the topics discussed over the course of the event.
