Chairman of PASHA Bank’s Executive Board headed a trade mission of Azerbaijani bankers to the UAE

PASHA Bank, one of Azerbaijan's largest banks, announces that the Chairman of its Executive Board, Farid Akhundov, led a trade delegation of Azerbaijani banking representatives to Dubai. High-ranking officials from leading Azerbaijani banks, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan Banks Association and the Baku Stock Exchange participated in this trade mission. The event was held on 16-18 September, 2014 and was organised by the Azerbaijani representative office of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The key topics for discussion over the course of the trade mission included strengthening and extending bilateral relations in the banking sector and sharing financial services expertise. As part of the bilateral talks, the CEO of PASHA Bank Farid Akhundov gave a presentation on the development of Azerbaijan's banking sector. He also discussed the investment potential Azerbaijan offers to foreign investors.
