The presentation of the collected articles "Securities Market and business opportunities" organized by the State Securities Committee of the AR (SSC) and financial support of OJSC Pasha Bank was held on 14 September 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fizuli Hall of Park Inn hotel . The collected articles were prepared and published as part of the measures stipulated in the "State Program on the Development of Securities Market of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2011-2020" approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 16 may 2011. and intended to inform and educate the public and potential stakeholders about the securities market Baku Stock Exchange, National Depositary Center, Pasha Bank and National Library joined the SSC in this event.
During the event the SSC also announced the contest of journalists for the best article or TV/radio package and explained the conditions of the contest.
In his speech the Chairman of the board of directors of Pasha Bank Farid Akhoundov stated that the project is financed within the social responsibility program of OJSC Pasha Bank. This project, which fully conforms to the strategy of Pasha Bank, is aimed to inform and educate the population and business community about the capital market and transactions performed in this market thus contributing to the development of the capital market in Azerbaijan and enabling Azerbaijan to become а regional financial center.
