The international rating agency S&P Global Ratings has affirmed PASHA Bank’s long-term and short-term credit ratings at “BB-/B” and upgraded the outlook to “positive”.

Commenting on the decision, PASHA Bank’s Chief Financial Officer Murad Suleymanov stated that this step reflects international recognition of the Bank’s financial resilience and strategic development path.

“The upgrade of our outlook to ‘positive’ by S&P Global Ratings confirms the Bank’s strong financial performance, prudent risk management, and the resilience of the operating environment in which we function. Within the framework of our strategic priorities, we remain committed to sustainable growth, strong capitalization, and maintaining high standards of corporate governance,” Mr. Suleymanov emphasized.

He added that the bank will continue to focus on creating long-term value, strengthening financial stability, and maintaining its position as a reliable partner for shareholders.

PASHA Bank was established in 2007 and is one of Azerbaijan’s leading corporate financial institutions. The bank provides corporate and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with investment banking, trade finance, asset management, and traditional banking services.

The bank’s core mission is to support the development of the non-oil sector, meet the financial needs of the real sector, and contribute to the diversification of the national economy. In addition to Azerbaijan, PASHA Bank operates in Georgia and Türkiye.

PASHA Bank was recognized by the international financial publication International Investor Magazine with two major awards for 2026: “Best Bank in Azerbaijan” and “Best SME Bank in Azerbaijan.”

In 2024–2025, the Bank received several awards from reputable international publications such as Euromoney, International Investor Magazine, and Global Finance, including “Best SME Bank” and “World’s Best Private Banks 2025.”

In addition, in 2025 the Bank became the first Azerbaijani bank to win the “Gold Stevie” award in the “Company of the Year” category from the Stevie Awards.
