PASHA Bank in partnership with Junior Achievement Azerbaijan (JAA) – a non-profit organization that provides financial, business and entrepreneurship education for young students – implements two projects focused at the development of entrepreneurship skills and financial literacy of students studying in different universities of the country.

In collaboration with Junior Achievement Azerbaijan (JAA) and Central Bank of Azerbaijan we implemented “Banks in Action” project. The projects engaged the third and fourth-year students of the State Economic University into activities which trained them how to operate a bank in a competitive environment. Students through the computer simulation “JA Banks in Action” received training on banking industry and exercised to run a virtual bank. Participants of the project had to take decisions which would affect three-month period and the team which runs the most profitable “Bank” was the winner of the project.

The project provided the most successful participants with the internship opportunity at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, thus introducing to students future career opportunities.
